Question

PSE 15 - Why are photos not always displayed in order of date taken?

When viewing photos in Folders by Media, photos are displayed:

1.  Not always chronologically according to the date taken.

2.  Sometimes in Folders whose date does not correspond to the date taken.

How do I correct this?

    More details would be needed.

In media view, you can choose newer, older, file name or batch import.

In your preferences, you can opt for 'newer' with showing the oldest file in a day first.

Of course, only the 'date_taken' is used, not the many other dates used by the OS.

    Folders have no date_taken.

Do you mean folder names based on dates, such as the subfolder creation by the downloader?

They appear by subfolder name, just like in the Explorer.
