PSE 15 Won't run after install

     Downloaded and first installed PSE 15 yesterday afternoon.  Run the installer, and everything seems to go ok.  Try to start the program and get the infamous message that PSE won't start, and has been closed.  Windows will get back to you when it feels like it.

I spent all day following the troubleshooting ladder, every single step of the trouble shooting matrix,  uninstalling, reinstalling after each step even tried to install and run from another HD.  Still no luck after nearly a day and a half.

Brand new HP notebook, more than meets the tech specs as listed.  Virus software shut down, uac is off, tried everything in the guide without any luck.

    Let us know if issue still exists.

    Regarding menus not working, do you have Auto HideTaskbar ON?

    If yes, click the Restore button to restore the application window so that it is not maximized.

    Restore Elements Organizer

    If it doesn't work, request you to please turn off Auto Hide Taskbar.

      Switching back to my old PSE 7, which installs, and runs with no problem.  Installed PSE15 on my other machine, it installs ok, but runs like a dog.  Freezes, menus don't always work, multiple issues........

      Dumping lavasoft worked in one step.  Should have been this easy to find the solution in the troubleshooting guides.
