Question

PSE 2018 Orgainzer creates unwanted Adobe folder in My Documents

Every time I open the PSE 2018 Organizer, it creates a folder in My Documents named Adobe. This new folder has a sub-folder in it named Elements Organizer, which then has a further sub-folder named 16.0.

If I delete the Adobe folder and its sub-folders, then they are re-created the next time I open Organizer.

How can I prevent this Adobe folder being created in My Documents?

Many thanks if you can help me with this frustrating problem.

Did you check the size of those folders?

What's the point of deleting them if they are necessary?

The folders are zero bytes and there are no files in them. They do not appear to serve any purpose.

All of my PSE 2018 files are all stored elsewhere on my hard disk.

So, what is the matter? How can you know the don't serve any purpose? You can be sure that if they are re-created if you delete them that's because they are necessary. What's so 'frustrating' to see tiny-sized folders in a place you don't use for your own documents?
