PSE 2018 Organizer won't identify faces in pictures by circling them for identification

I've been using PSE 2018 on a pc with Windows 10 for years.  After a few months hiatus I loaded some new photos and it won't consistently identify faces with circles that are clear in a photo.  What gives?

What do you mean by "it won't consistently identify faces"?  Does it recognize some but not all? 

 

How many new photos have you imported?  Have you given sufficient time for the face recognition analysis to take place?

 

Have you looked in the UnNamed People tab (and unchecked the Hide Small Stacks box)?  Do any of the new file faces appear there?
