PSE 2018 Transparency Issue (Windows 10)

When I have several pictures open in Expert Mode, there are occassions when adjusting layer transparency in one picture also affects layers in another picture. I don't know what I'm doing to cause this but I can't imagine it's by design.

A screenshot showing the layers panel when this happen would be a big big help. Please don't take a picture with your phone make it an actual screenshot.

@reshacker did resetting the preferences work?

We'll have to wait and see as this only happens occassionally and I only catch it if I happen to focus on another open picture when it does.

I've never heard of that problem before. When unexpected results such as these happen, it is often helpful to try resetting the preferences file. Go to the Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button.
