PSE 2019 Test version - save history?

Hi,

when I reopen a file that has been stored as PSD before, the history is lost.

So I can't UNDO anything that has been done before saving and closing the file.

Is that normal in Photoshop Elements?

Can I change that behaviour?

Yes, that is normal. Once you close the file all editing history is lost.

You can always do a Save As to save the file in various states.
