PSE 2022 and macOS Sonoma ?

Hello everyone,

Is PSE 2022 compatible with macOS Sonoma ?

Has anyone tried ?

Is it fully functional or are there any bugs ?

    Installing the macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 update seems to fix the interface graphical issues.

      Thanks Jeff - I'll give that a try. Still haven't given in and paid the £70 to upgrade yet!

      My PSE 22 has got pretty much unusable since I upgraded to Sonoma. The photobin shows scrambled images, I have to convert every file to 8-bit before I can do most processing actions on it. I will be forced to pay the £70 upgrade fee to PSE 2024 which is really irritating, since I only got PSE 22 in Feb 2022. Only upgraded to Sonoma as the old one wouldn't recognise my new camera (CR3) files. Grrrr!

      I have pse 2022 running under macOS Sonoma 14.0 on a 2022 Mac Studio and there appears to be at the very least quite a few UI issues like with the Color Picker, Gradient Editor and a few other places. I haven't really used 2022 that much, since i also have pse 2023, which appears to work fine with none of the UI isues that pse 2022 exhibits.

       

      I did reset the pse 2022 preferences and plist but to no avail.

       

      Unless you really need some feature in macOS Sonoma 14.0, i might wait till pse 2024 comes out, which should be any day now and see what if any bad reports are posted here on this forum.

        Ich habe das gleiche Problem, es ist für mich nicht akzeptabel, dass das Problem nur mit einem upgrade auf PSE 2024 gelöst wird. Ich hoffe Adobe löst das Problem auch für die Version PSE 2022.
