PSE 2022 Crashes my computer

PSE 2022 crashes every time I use it. New Windows 11 HP computer, drivers updated.  Have used PSE 2014 for years with no problems. If Adobe can't fix the problem (which many others have also and Adobe has known about a long time), I will jump ship and go to a competitor product.

Dear User,

Sorry to hear that you are facing this issue. We need some more details to work on this issue - in what scenarios do you hit the crash, what type of files where you using? Also, the CPU usage detail will help us to get a better picture of app state. Please share these details.

Thanks,

Geetanjali

Here is a harsh reality:   Adobe only offically supports the newest version, and the previous version.  What does that mean?  They won't do anything to support (or fix) old software.    You're one of the few with this particualr issue- if you know of others- post the links to their comments and concerns.   You really haven't given the community much to work with--- what were doing when it crashes for example.

You have a new computer?  time to step up and buy the newest version.

Both my computer hardware and the PSE 2022 software are less than one month
old. The computer has an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics, 1.80 GHz,
16 MB RAM, 64-bit, Windows 11. The software, Elements 2022, was purchased
and downloaded from Adobe a few ago.

While in edit mode, the screen will randomly go black and freeze the
computer requiring shutdown and restart. Many others have written about
similar experiences recently.

updaste your video card drivers.   Just becaouse you may a have a new computer doesn't mean the video drivers do not need updating.
