PSE 2022 sign in box appearing

Hi, I've been using PSE 2022 (legitimate registered licence). It seems that a few times a year including in the last few days, I'm suddenly being asked to sign in to my adobe account. If I dismiss this popup, PSE seems to keep working fine. Why does this popup appear and how can I stop it. I have registed the licence and agreed to terms and conditions long ago.

I'm thinking it mak be due to a 3rd party program- such as CCleaner- which you can set up to clear things, usually in your browser everytime you close it. It this case (using a 3rd party program) sometimes results in random passwords being deleted- which have nothing to do with your web browser.

ALSO: having multiple Adobe accounts can jack things up. I have my personal Adobe account, and my School Adobe account, If I sign into my Adobe account here at home with my School credentials it even tells me that it will affect all adobe products installed- it signs me out ouf Photoshop Elements- and right now I have about 9 or 10 versions of PSE installed.

Thank you for both replies but neither of these appear to explain what I'm seeing. I don't use PSE on a second machine even though I have a laptop with it installed. I just never use it on that laptop. And I never sign out. Also, I don't have any 3rd party programs that I believe could cause this and I'm fairly IT literate. Either way, if there's no obvious explanation, then thank you but I'll simply put up with it.

Has the program been installed on more than one computer? Have you signed out of another version of the program on a different computer? Signing out of one version of Elements (or any Creative Cloud program for that matter) seems to sign you out of all programs associated with the account. There have also been some recent changes to how Elements legacy versions are activated and deactivated and I am trying to get some clarification from Adobe on some of these issues. I don't know whether your situation has been affected by these changes or what you can do to resolve this annoyance.
