PSE 2023 organizer missing files

I have had PSE 2023 since it came out and run it on a year old Mac. I use PSE for digital scrapbooking and have over 50,000 items tagged in the organizer. In the last few months I have had hundreds and hundreds of files 'missing'. Reconnect All Files doesn't get them and I can go in and individually reconnect them and have found they are in the Cloud. All my items are not in the Cloud, however. I don't want to nor do I have the time to manually reconnect all these files. Has anyone had this experience or does anyone know what to do about it? Adobe says call Apple, Apple says call Adobe.
