PSE 2024 purchased from Mac app store blocked by Adobe error message
I want to share this story. In February I purchased a standalone version of PSE 2024 in the Apple app store. I got an official invoice, which is evidence of a legally correct purchase. The application is not linked to any Adobe subscription. The application functioned very well for a few months, but since a few weeks I can no longer use it. Every time I launch the application I get the Adobe error message "We can’t verify your subscription status" (although it is a standalone app that does not require a subscription).
I tried everything. I followed the proposed solutions on the support pages of Adobe, I uninstalled and reinstalled the application, etc. Then I contacted Adobe support, who said I should contact Apple support, who should provide me a serial number or redemption code. After which I did, but Apple support said they couldn't give me a serial number, I have legally purchased the application and Adobe should allow me to use the application. So I contacted Adobe support again, got switched between several support agents, and every time again I needed to repeat what was the problem. The last activity (up till now) is an e-mail from Adobe support sending me a link to the first Adobe support page I tried (actually the same link is also on the error message page I got) and which actually is about a problem with Creative Cloud applications.
This is so frustrating, I'm getting quite desperate....
