PSE 2026 crash at launch on macos Tahoma 26.0.1

Just installed the new version on my macbook air M2 (no previous PSE version installed) and the editor crashes before the UI is displayed.

A reboot made no difference. The organiser opens fine, it's just the editor.

Here's the dump of the error which is sent to Apple automatically I believe.

Anyone know of a solution?

thanks

Nick

FIRST OFF, JUST TO MAKE SURE SEARCHES WORK CORRECTLY... THE MAC OS 26 IS CALLED TAHOE

The only way Elements Editor can launch is to disable WiFi until after it successfully launches.

Adobe is skirting this issue, but I contacted another rep via the FB group and he said to post my Crash Report as well. HOWEVER, now the App just stalls without issuing a crash report.

Try re-starting your Mac.

Then switch off wi-fi and try launching the Editor again.

You should see a message that you are not connected to the internet. Switch wi-fi back on and continue.

Let us know if that makes a difference.
