PSE 2026 erkennt keine Plugins

Hallo,

ich habe PSE 2026 inst. Leider erkennt PSE 2026 keine Plugins.

Correct answer Jeff Arola

What operating system are you using?

The preference (Edit>Preferences>Plug-Ins Windows and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2026 Editor>Settings>Plug-Ins Mac) to point to a plug-in folder from within the Photoshop Elements 2026 Editor doesn't seem to work on either the Windows or Mac side.

You can, however, put the plugins on the Windows side in either

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements 26

or

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2026\Plug-Ins

On the Mac side the plugins only seem to work if put in

Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/Elements 26

What version of the NIK plug-ins (DxO) do you have?

Maybe the Elements 26 folder will be created if you install the camera raw plugin by opening the Photoshop Elements 2026 Editor and going to Help>Install Camera Raw

Thanks, Jeff - that actually did install a PSE26 folder in your specified path. Unfortunately the plug-ins still don’t show up - no matter if I copy them as a DXo folder or as singular .plugin file.  Greetings, Gabi

Note: Now there’s actually a notification that some new plugins are found, but still they don’t show up within PSE 26.

Same here - I tried to install my NIK plug-ins into PSE26, does not work. I don’t have a folder Elements26 within Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/ , using the preferrred folder within PSE did not work either.

I’m running MacOS Tahoe 26.3.1 on an IMac Apple M3 – and had to buy PSE26 after my PSE20 stopped working after upgrading the Mac OS. Now it seems I have to purchase the filter plug-ins again, too :-(

Any ideas? Thanks in advance - Gabi
