pse 26.3 won't open either "Organizer" or "Photo editor"

I start pse 26.3, get to the initial splash screen, click on either organizer module or photo editor module; little circle goes around for maybe a minute and then stops but neither module has opened. I’ve downloaded the app again and get same result. I have win 11 with ARM. Help, please.

    ARM is not supported.

Adobe officially states that Windows on ARM processors are not supported for Photoshop Elements 2026. The software requires an Intel 8th Generation or newer processor, or an equivalent AMD processor with AVX2 and SSE4.2 support.

While some Windows on ARM users (like those on Snapdragon chips) have reported limited success by relying on Windows 11’s built-in emulation, it is not officially tested or guaranteed by Adobe. Standard Intel and AMD architectures remain the safest bet for full, glitch-free performance.

Some have had success creating a shortcut to the editor.

I installed the app on a Dell XPS-13 with Win11

Thanks Damon.  There are other photo editors out there that are ARM native and/or ARM compatible.  Can’t blame you for leaving, best of luck.

Thank you. I was afraid that is was an ARM issue. Is there an sense of attempting to create compatibility in the near future? If not, how do I get a refund for the apparently useless 3 year subscription?

Any non-subscription app purchased directly from Adobe may be returned within 30 days of receipt.  More details HERE

Just curious to know what (Make/Model) device you installed it on if you wouldn’t mind.

Go to your C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2026 folder, locate the Photoshop Elements 2026 Application (.exe) and drag it to your taskbar.

Ditto with your C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 2026 Organizer folder.  Locate the Photoshop Elements Organizer application (.exe) and drag it to your taskbar.

You can skip opening them via the home screen now.
