PSE 9 and new Mac Sierra

I have been playing around with install on my iMac OS Sierra as well as a Mac Pro. The download PSE 9 from Adobe does not work on either. Then I went old school and installed from the origial CD via remote disc. I tried this on my Mac Pro first and within 10 mins I was up and running with no issues. So, i decided to un install on the Mac Pro so I could try to remote install on my desktop iMac, which is where I need it. When I do it tells me its installe on another device and to un install. But I have already done that on the Mac Pro and also restarted it. How can I insure that its un installed on the Mac Pro so that I may install on my desktop Mac? I have restarted both macs after I uninstalled PSE 9 and it still tells me it's installed on the Mac Pro. Do I have to wait hours or so before trying to re install onto the desktop mac?
