PSE drops to bottom of the screen

When my display goes into sleep mode, PSE and all th photos I was working on drop to the bottom of the screen. I then have to drag everything up so I can see the tool bin. Very annoying.

I am using PSE 24 on macOS 14.4.1

Any suggestions?

Did you recently get the Photoshop Elements 2024.2 update?

Trying to answer your questions.

1- Using Mac mini with an external display

2- I am using floating windows

3- I did recently update to PSE 2024.2 (but the "about" didn't update). I think I had the problem before the update

Yes i see that using an external display with a 2022 Mac Studio running macOS Sonoma 14.4.1

and Photoshop Elements 2024.

Normally i use Photoshop Elements Maximized on the screen, so i hadn't noticed that before.

Are you using an external display?

You have Photoshop Elements Maximized on the screen or resized smaller than the screen?

(Green Maximize button in the upper left above where it says Open)

Can you post a screenshot of what your seeing?
