PSE12 won't install on new computer

New computer (Win 10), partial transfer of PSE12 from old to new, but didn't work. Uninstalled PSE12 as suggested in Community. Made multiple attempts to re-install from original DVD/CD. Each time, get "Data error (cyclic redundancy check". Nothing to help via "Troubleshoot". No other options but to exit the installer. Please help.

Your optical discs may be damaged.  Try going to the Products page of your Adobe.com account.  You should have a link to download the software from there.
