PSE14 Full screen

Starting on 2018 full screen does not work properly. The photo i selected is not shown, i get another image (every time the same) with no relation whith the selected picture. It was OK last week! My system Windows10 and PSE14.

Its work properly only on " .pse " files. Very Strange. Thank you for support

Hi,

Has your PSE 14 been updated to 14.1 (see Help -> About Photoshop Elements)?

I assuming that you have the filenames displayed beneath each thumbnail. If you select a JPG does the File Information show the sames name?

What happens if you select a JPG and then go to the editor - is the coorect image loaded into the editor?

Hi,

Filenames are not changed and editor works properly.

So as it's probably a catalog problem I saved and restore the catalog (long task)... The problem disapeared.

So thank you for your support, I will use this bypass.

Hi,

I have Windows 10/PSE 14 and full screen still works ok for me.

You may have a problem with your catalog.

For one of your images that displays incorrectly, try right clicking on the thumbnail and select "Update thumbnail" - does the thumbnail change?

Try selecting File -> Reconnect -> All missing files - do you get any errors?

You may need to repair your catalog [File -> Manage Catalogs - select your current catalog and click on Repair] - does it report any errors?

Thank you for your response.

I also think it's a catalog problem.

I did all actions you proposed.

No thumbnail change, Nothing to reconnect (i saved catalog yesterdea), no error in catalog repair. I recreate index.

Same result if i select a JPG file to view full screen I get the first PSE file in catalog and following PSE or PDF files.
