PSE2024 Organizer - How do I delete files?

Question

I just bought PSE2024 and did a Bulk Import of my whole Photos file, which also had many subfolders, into the Organizer.
Then, b/c it's been years since I last used PSE (had PSE13), I decided I should clean up my Photos file, but did it on my external hard drive, NOT through the Catelog in PSE2024. Opps!
How do I get the my Catelog Folder Tree to match/look like my actual external hard drive files tree?
Do I delete the folders from inside the Catelog (tried that and it won't let me)?
Do I make a New Catelog with a new name and do another Bulk import to this new catelog, then delete the original/old catelog?
Need help and rest assured, I've learned my lesson about messing with my files on my hard drive and will only mess with them THROUGH the Catelog from now on.

To match the folders display in the Organizer to your OS display, click on the tiny down arrow next to the My Folders heading and check View as Tree:

In your situation, I think I would create a new catalog (in File>Manage Catalogs) and start over.

Actually, depending on how much organizational work you have performed in Elements 13, you may want to consider Converting that catalog to Elements 2024 (also in the File>Manage Catalogs dialog) and then importing your new files in their new location, using Import>From Files and Folders. Using the Import in Bulk feature can import a lot of stuff on your computer that you probably don't want in your catalog.
