PSE8 Organizer/ 'video player' option plays audio only

The video player for my .wmv video files in the Organizer will not display the ‘video’ (only plays the audio).

The .wmv was created in the PSE Organizer and I selected import just after they were created.

Also, if I import any other .wmv video previously created in PSE8 they play only the audio portion but no picture (video).

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Windows  with Vista 32bit desktop
