Organizer works/ Editor won't load.
I'll have to try to uninstall and reinstall PSE8 from my disk and then restore the organizer from my PS save.
Question: Does the restore actually restore my photos in the source folder on my PC?
Or does it just attempt to re-link them to PSE?
After uninstall I think I should delete the PSE Organizer and PSE Editor folders from my PC before the re-install?

Yes. Unless you choose to restore the folder tree under a new master folder.

No.

Uninstalling will delete PSE editor and organizer.
You don't need to deactivate by using the menu Help > sign out before an uninstall and sign in (with your license key) after the reinstall, but you can do it.
