Hello,

I was a happy user of PSE9 until I updated my Mac to Catelina and now I cannot start the software. As a paid users this is very frustrating. My occasional use doesnt warrent a paid subscription and it seems I am not even offered a upgraid discound.

Has anyone foudn a way around this?

Thanks

Paul

Photoshop Elements is not a subscription product. It's pay-once-own-forever.

You have a few options:

  1. Upgrade to Elements 2020 for use on Catalina. Shop around and you may find the full version of Elements on sale at Amazon.
  2. Downgrade your operating system to Mojave and keep using Elements 9

You bought Elements 9 nearly 10 years ago. You chose to upgrade from a supported operating system to Catalina (an unsupported operating system). No discounts will ever be offered in those circumstances.

You can downgrade to Mojave for free and keep using Elements 9 or stay with Catalina and pay between $60 and $90 to get Elements 2020, which may last you another 10 years.
