Purchased Photoshop Elements 2023 in July

I purchased Photoshop Elements 2023 for Mac less than 3 months ago. I now note that 2024 is out.

 

Is there a free upgrade path concidering the short period since purchase?

No.  You can always get ahold of Adobe support, in some cases, they have done it when the purchase was done a week or two before the new release, but asking after a 3 month purchase seems a bit much.

    I called requesting this (my 2023 purchase was 59 days ago). The support person I reached said they didn't do that. He said that, within 30 days of purchase, he could cancel a license, and sell the 2024 license - effectively an upgrade within a 30 time-frame.

    Of course, it might depend on the individual. The support person I talked to kept trying to steer the subject to "update" and away from "upgrade" until I finally pinned him down.

    yup, sure sounds like you will need to purchase the latest version if you want it-- which is pretty typical with any software company considering purchases that were made 60 days prior.
