Purchased Photoshop Elements 2024 after Elements 2025 was released. How to contact for upgrade?

As the title says, I purchased Photoshop Elements 2024 after Elements 2025 was released due to having downloaded a trial of Elements 2024 that gave me the option to buy it before the 30 trial ran out. Based on the date of my receipt and unknown to me at the time, Elements 2025 had been announced and available for roughly a week when I purchased Elements 2024. Is there a path to getting Elements 2025 at no charge? I've looked everywhere for how to contact Adobe tech support but I swear it's like they make it intentionally difficult to find how to get a hold of them.

Any help in putting me on the right path to figuring this out is greatly appreciated!

Dont buy 2025. Its only good for 3 years then you to buy it again.

for elements i believe one can use phone or chat. So when you go to the adobe website the chat screen pops up. That would be my first place to start. Some years ago they helped me with a simmular problem.

You can start an Adobe Support chat session by going to the Contact Adobe Support page . If you use my link, clicking on it should open the chat box automatically. Make sure you are signed into your Adobe account and try typing Agent when the chat window opens. You should then be able to bypass the chat robots.

Adobe used to be very liberal in giving a free (or replacement?) upgrade for users who purchased shortly before a new version came out. As you are probably aware, Elements 2025 now has a 3 year limited term license. Elements 2024 has no expiration period. It will last as long as your computer and OS support it. Prior versions of Elements had a 30 day free trial period. Elements 2025 has only a 7 day free trial. So, with all these changes, I will be interested to know how Adobe reacts to your situation. Will you please report back what happens? Thanks.

I appreciate the help. After going in circles with the virtual assistant, I was finally sent to an actual person that then sent me on to someone else. They said they would refund the Elements 2024 purchase and that I could purchase Elements 2025. I said I needed a receipt for accounting and they told me the refund would come in 5 to 7 days so, as long as that actually happens, I'd say it was resolved.
