Quick and Guided modes not working

In quick mode the tool bar shows Adjustments, Quick actions, etc but on the right side whichever is selected there is just the whirling symbol as if it is loading. In guided mode there is a similar whirling symbol but the guided edit option do not appear. The editor works fine in Advanced mode.

I did as you suggested and they advised me to uninstall and then reinstall. It has done the trick.

You can try contacting Elements support. You can start a chat session by going to the Contact Adobe Support page. Make sure you are signed into your Adobe account and try typing Agent when the chat window opens. (If you use my link, the chat window should open automatically.)

What version of Elements and what OS are you using.

Has the program worked properly on your computer?  If so, try resetting the preferences file. Go to the Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button.

Hello Greg

I'm using PSE2024 and Windows 10. It has all worked properly before. I many use the Advanced mode and only occasional use the Quick or Guided modes and so it may have been a month or more since I last used the Quick or Guided options.

I have tried your suggestion without success.
