RAM available to PSE 15

I have started having problems with PS Elements 15.  It cannot do basic functions such as making a stroke around images, and auto fix, because it tells me it has not got enough RAM.  My computer (Windows 10) has 4 GB ram, of which about 2 is normally available to programs.  In the system line of Elements Help, it says there is only 8 MB memory available to PS Elements.  I have reinstalled Elements 15 several times, the problem does not go away.  I have installed it on an old computer (Windows 7) also with 4 GB RAM where it works fine, saying that 3045 MB of RAM are available to PSE 15.

How can I get more rAM available to PSE 15 on my main computer?

    Could be the bug that is affecting many photoshop elements users with windows 10 and the spring creators update.

    The solution is to modify the registry as explained below:

    Error: An integer between 50 and 8 is required | Elements | Windows 10

    you'd have to increase system ram.
