why cant i use my raw photos on adobe premier

@Test Screen Name, yes raw files can be used in Premiere Elements.

      Why do you feel Premiere should work with RAW photos? Does it say that it should? That's more in the line of Photoshop.

      If you tell us what version of Elements you are using, and the make and model of the camera that produces your raw files, we might be able to tell you.
