I had a working Photoshop Elements 11 that could open the RAW files from my Lumix camera. Yesterday, I accepted an update of I don't know what, and this morning Photoshop can't open the RAW files anymore. Any clue / solution to what appenened ?
I have Adobe Camera Raw 13 running on my machine now but it is incompatible with Elements 11.
Adobe Camera Raw is a plug-in that only works with another program. ACR 13 can't possibly run on Elements 11. Do you have some other Adobe program that will run ACR 13, such as Photoshop CC or Bridge? It is possible to get ACR 13.3 to work with Elements 2021, but not with earlier versions of Elements.
The earliest version of Elements that I can get to open a raw file from a Lumix G9 is Elements 2018. If you performed some workaround that allowed the raw files from your 2017 camera to work with an Elements version released 5 years earlier, please let us know what you did.
You must be mistaken. Your camera requires Adobe Camera Raw 10.1. Elements 11 only supports ACR 7.4.
Perhaps you shoot in jpg+raw and Elements 11 will open the jpegs. But there is no way it would ever open a raw file from that camera. And while in later versions it has been possible to use a workaround to upgrade ACR beyond the official plug-in version, I seriously doubt whether that was possible with Elements 11.
"But there is no way it would ever open a raw file from that camera" the issue is that it did! For the las two years Photoshop elements opened all my raw file and suddenly because of an “improvement’ not any more.

The camera is a Lumix G9, but Photoshop was working with the RAW images out of this camera and then ... not anymore witout any change on the camera side.
