I just installed Photoshop Elements 2022 a few days ago. It worked for a few days. Then when I started it, all of the menu desciptions were missing but it did load the image. I restarted and it worked fine.

Now I get the

Could not initialize Photoshop Elements because of a program error

I am running Windows 10 with all the latest updates. I have plenty of disk space and memory (24 GB).

I did the Ctrl, Alt, Shift trick. That did not work. The Organizer works and Elements 9 runs fine.

    Hi @James264544742d8i,

Can you please confirm if the uninstall and reinstall suggestion by Greg worked for you?

    Thanks,

Try a complete uninstall/reinstall of the program.  On the uninstall, check the option to remvove preference files.  If that doesn't work, try contacting Elements support. You can start a chat session by clicking on the blue Contact Us button under the Support menu at Adobe.com. Or you can contact Support by telephone using the numbers listed here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html.
