I have the issue with Photoshop elements
I still can't stop the advertising opening. I just want to go straight to elements....

    Make a desktop shortcut for the Editor app (or alias on Mac) and you can launch directly bypassing the home app. While the Editor app is running you can pin to the taskbar (keep in dock on Mac) and launch in future with a single click.
