Reinstall off CD?

I recently purchased CD of Adobe Photoshops Elements & Premier Elements , installed and worked fine.....I still had renemants of 13 and 15 on my computer (iMac 10-13.2 Latest up dates. so decided to smart in (ha) just those ) uninstall thus my 18 would no longer work. Decided no problem I will install the CD again...D shows and nothing that shows is the installer icon so I clip the file install a blank page opens.....help. Am 90 so not overly smart about these but some things escape me.

I only clicked Elements 18 but both Elements and Premiere loaded up....at first on my Mac it appeared it was loading only Elements at 2.8 GB and it took from 5.38 until 10:30 to install but it had loaded 4 plus GB. Thank you
