Question

Remove People tags from multiple photos?

Hello,

How do I remove a "People" tag from multiple photos?

Once upon a time, you could select multiple pictures and remove a common tag.

When I select multiple pictures, People/Event tags aren't listed under the "Remove Keyword Tag" right click option.  Nor do common tags appear in the "Image Tags" box on the lower right.

I see where it has been posted that you can select an "Event", select multiple photos, and there will be a "Remove" option on the lower left toolbar.

However, when I try this with People, there is no remove option.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Casey

You also have to be zoomed into the grid sufficiently for the People icons to appear in the Details view:

Hi Casey,

Try this:

1. Make sure the View > Details option is turned on.

2. Select the multiple images you want to remove a People tag from.

3. Right-click the People icon on the right-hand side of the details section under one of the images, and click the Remove from name person option that pops-up.

That should remove the People tag from all of the selected images.

And the same process will work for Events too as I know you were interested in that as well 🙂
