Remove previous images

When I open up a new blank file, and move the mouse over the blank file, the image of the previous object appears. Control Z removes it from the current blank file but it returns. Thanks

Were you using the clone tool on the old photo?

If it is still active, the preview of the cloned area from the old photo will show on a new photo.  If you change to a different tool, the preview will go away.
