Removing object from image

when trying to remove image from photo, why do I get a blurred result?  I used the lasso, edit - fill selection - content aware (normal 100%).  It removes some of the image area but leaves a blurred spot.

If you are using the content aware option, the selection that you have removed will be filled in with the program's best guess as to what would be behind the object you have removed.  What are you expecting to happen?  Perhaps if you post the photo, we can better understand your question.
