Replace background

Hi the replace background in PSE 2018 has just stopped working, any help would be appreciated.

OS is Windows 10 64bit  8Gig Ram i7 processor, all the latetest Win updates installed plenty of space on SSD.

Are you talking about the Guided Edit?

Without knowing more, try resetting the preferences file.  Go to Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button.
