I'm currently using Photoshop Elements v. 14 and am attempting to change the background of a photo, I've gone through the process several times now and have gotten the same result each time, instead of changing the background it's inserting the background into the area that I want to place on the background, what am I doing wrong?? or is it the program?? and what can I do to get it right??..I tried to insert a screenshot of what I'm getting in the guided section and It said that type of file is forbidden, I tried to attach the merged photo and it said that type of file was forbidden also..so my description will have to do, I hope you can get the jist of my quandary..Thanks in advance..

This is what I was doing only in the guided area instead of expert..

and ended up with this instead. I wanted to Place the Giraffe on top of the

leaves..I'll try it in the expert section and see if I get the result I

    wanted.
