Resizing Photo for a Mockup

Hi Everyone, hope someone can help

I do artwork and I wanted to put some of my pictures on a mockup livingroom wall type.

I bought a mockup on sale that was created for PSE

It installed great and easy....here is the problem

When I drag my picture into the mockup, it places it where it should be but I can't resize my picture.

I can resize it when it is not on the mockup, but when I put it on the mockup, it goes to big again and I mean TO BIG.

Can someone tell me, is there something I need to do, turn on or off, save picture in a different format than jpg?..... I am lost, never used a mockup before. I wish I could make my own and not have to worry about it. But I never tried to find the components to do so. Not sure I could make it all look somewhat real.

TIA

Blessings

Judi

PS I am going to try and attach the file here so if anyone wants to play around and try to figure it out.

It will be my luck that anyone trying it, all will be ok.

This also works: Open your wall mockup and the photo you want on the wall. Open the Photo Bin and select the mockup. Then, drag and drop your photo onto the wall mockup from the photo bin. Then select the Move tool to move and resize it. I just did this with your mockup and it works fine

This is what I had been doing Walter but for some reason would not give me the resize box when selecting the move tool, not sure why.

Maybe you need to turn on Show Bounding Box in the Tool Options for the Move Tool?

Hi Judi,

I've recorded a quick demo to show how you can resize a picture you've placed onto the mockup you supplied.

In the video, when I click and drag on the corner of the picture I hold down the Shift key while I am doing this to constrain the proportions, otherwise the picture will either get squeezed or stretched. I also hold down the Shift key when I click and drag the picture to move it in a straight line.

Hi Phil,

That is the problem, I can not get resizing box to appear. I click on the picture. no box

Something is missing

My picture layer shows up, same place as yours does. But before you brought your picture in, you had the box there already, I can't get it at all.

Oh my goodness this is so frustrating. I hope you have an idea of what I am missing

BTW, I am in EXPERT mode and I can click on the picture, hold down the button and move it around but not get a sizing box
