Resolution issue with transparent png

Hi.

When I work on my website logo, it looks sharp and clean. However, when I save it as a transparent png and upload it to my website, the letters have feathering at their edges and are not sharp. Is there a step I am missing?

What is the resolution of the file that you upload?

Does this problem prevail with other fonts?

When you visualize the logo on screen, what is the magnification?
