Restore catalog problem in PSE 2018

I bought 2018 today and installed it after removing PSE14. When it came to restoring my catalog I pointed the program to the backup.tly in my D drive and it doesn't allow me to restore. The restore button remains greyed out even though it sees the backup.tly

    You only need to use the Backup & Restore method if you are moving your catalog to a new computer.

    If you are installing PSE 2018 on the same computer, you simply upgrade the previous catalog.

    That doesn't work. When I installed I had removed all trace of PSE14 and installed PSE 2018 from scratch. I then want to reinstall all my photos from the TLY backup file but the restore button stays greayed out

    There is usually an upgrade prompt during installation.

    Otherwise launch Organizer and go to:

    File >> Manage Catalogs

    Then click the “Convert” button top-right

    Choose your previous catalog from the list and click Convert.
