Restore from one version of Elements to another.

I backed up my Elements 2016. After I suffered a computer crash I upgraded to Elements 2021. When I try to restore from the 2016 back I get a message that the back up is not valid. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Do you see a .tly file in the backup folder, you created while performing the backup? You need to select that .tly file in the 'Locate the Backup File' section while performing the restore.

I get a message that it is not a valid back up file.
