Restore PSE 2021 to New Computer

Question

When restoring a PSE 2021 Full Backup from a Windows 10 computer to a new Windows 10 PSE 2021 computer,1. What destination do I select?2. Do I specific orignial file structure or not?Thanks.....Ron

The article linked by hatstead should give you all the information you need. But a couple of details need to be paid attention to. If you want the catalog on your new computer to be stored in the same folder structure as your old one, you need to make sure you are signed in with the same Windows User account on both machines.

If you decide to put the media in a new location on the new computer, again you have to be careful because the dialog is very confusing and you may end up with folder structure under the one you intended.
