Revering old photoshop catalogue

I used Photoshops elements2 on my Windows7 laptop and backed up to an external hard disk. I shoud have updated my photoshop version years ago but, stupidly, never did. My laptop crashed and has been replaced with a laptop running windows10. If I get the latest version of photoshop will I be able to recover my catalogue.
