Rulers in elements

At the last update, the rulers in my Elements program now only show even numbers......2,4,6,8, etc.  I'm measuring in inches. How do i get ALL the numbers back, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,etc?  I have restored the program to factory default, nothing.  Old work that i have saved has all the numbers in the rulers, so i know i'm not crazy. 

HELP!

    You need to zoom in.  Even numbers only are shown from about 23 to 41 percent zoom.  The scale of the numbers shown is dynamically changed based upon the zoom factor.
     
    You need to change your images to PNG, not JPG.   If you leave them at JPG they will still have the white when you go to use them.

    My hero! I'll try that tomorrow.  I recently had eye surgery,  so everything looks funny right now
