Is this possible? I can see some plug-ins are available but what if you have a script you desire to run?  Where can you load it?  Please help!! Thanks in advance!

My system is running Windows 7 Home Premium.  And you are correct, it is written for use in Photoshop CC-2014.

At least the author says this is the case. I will try to File/Open and run it to see what happens. Thank you.

What operating system are you using?

You can run java scripts in pse 14, but if they were written for photoshop, some commands may not be available in pse 14 and can throw errors.

You can test out most scripts by using File>Open (windows) or File>Open and set it to Enable>Al Documents) (mac), then point to the script you want to test and press Open.

If you find a script that works and want to have it readily available there are ways to configure the script to show in the Automation Tools menu.

UPDATE: I was able to run the script with it ultimately showing me a splash screen saying the
"installation was complete".  Now after restarting PSE, I still am floundering with the step by step PDF I have for it.

You mentioned the Automation Tools menu. Can you describe using it for me.  Thank you again!

Would you mind giving us a link to the script if it's a free script?
