    Did you just upgrade to Windows 10 (1803)? Then, here is the explanation and solution:

    Error: An integer between 50 and 8 is required | Elements | Windows 10

    Thank you MichelBParis.  I did eventually manage to make contact with Adobe support where I received the same answer that you give. It seems the cause of the problem lies with Windows.  thanks again.
