Same as a post in 2018: image size is locked on 'percentage' and cannot be reset to pixels

Same as the person wrote in 2018: "image size is locked on 'percentage' and cannot be reset to pixels." I am also having this problem. I have Elements 10.0 on a Mac OS Mojave. It has worked fine but all of a sudden the photos are in % not pixels no matter what I reset or try. I have the exact program on a laptop computer Mac OS X El Capitan and it's working fine there. Apple tried shutdowns, etc., but was unable to help. Adobe has said that because the program is considered obsolete there is nothing they can help me with on the phone. I reset all of the preferences and kept retyping in pixels on "Image" but it didn't help. It appears from the 2018 post that this is an unusual problem and I hope that someone might know of a way to fix this. Thanks for reading this.

At the bottom left of the image window called the Status Bar, click on the little sideways arrow and then click on Document Dimensions.

Which version of PS Elements do you have?

The current version is Elements 2021.

Adobe expects customers to have the latest software and operating systems, no more than 2 versions back.

What file type is the image?

Thanks for your reply. I know it's an old program; Elements 10.0 on a Mac OS Mojave. It was a jpg.  I work on jpgs all the time but suddenly this program will not show any of them in pixels.

I can't guarantee anything since PSE 10 is way beyond it's sell by date. But have you tried unistalling PSE, restart your computer and then re-install PSE?
