save as no longer automatically highlighting file name in photoshop elements on Mac OS Big Sur

I recently updated my computer and now when I save as in Photoshop, it no longer automatically highlights the file name everytime. Some times it does and sometimes it doesn't. Anyone else noticing this problem or have a solution? It sounds like a compatibility glitch between photoshop and the latest Mac OS.
