saving a layer from a template

Hello so I am using photoshop elements 2022 and I have a template filled with buttons and other things that are made for editing and customizing and I am pretty new to this so can not figure out how to save one of these buttons by itself as a png without having to save the whole file. I attached a screenshot to show what I am referring to. Please someone help.

There are various ways to do this.

Select all of the layers by Shift+Clicking on the top and bottom layer.
Press Ctrl+, to hide all of the layers
Click on the layer eyeball of the button you want to save. This will make only that button visible.
Save the file as a .png file with a new name.

Alternatively:

Create a new transparent file for the button (File>New>Blank File)
Select Tile from the Window>Images menu. This will bring the button file and the blank file side by side
With the button file selected, click and drag the desired button layer to the new blank file
Save the new button file as a .png file
