Saving Changes in PSE 19

Is there a way to save changes in Photoshop Elements (19) in a single step (Save changes>YES - finished) instead of in FOUR steps that I currently have (save changes on doc xxxxxxx >Save>Doc XXXXX already exists, etc...> OK). I remember that Photoshop asked only ONE question and as soon as you hit "YES" it was finished. Why all this four-step fuss?

Set your preferences in the editor menu, Edit >> Preferences, Saving files.

Obviously, PSE is targeted at new users  who are at risk to overwrite their precious photos inadvertently. Adobe and some other editors have chosen to default in a safe mode.

Advanced users use the Adobe Camera Raw plugin to edit their raw files as well as their jpegs non destructively. When you have set all your edits for  a selected batch of files, a single click on the 'Done' button saves everything (non-destructively).
