Does anyone know why I cannot do a save as file and not able to change the file or Photoshop Elements cannot find the file to save?

    If you are getting this error: Could not complete your request because of a problem parsing the JPEG data

    See here:

    Error: An integer between 50 and 8 is required | Elements | Windows 10

    If not, please be more specific about what you are doing, what is happening, and if there are any error messages, exactly what they say.

    Please restate the above more elegantly. I don't understand what you are trying to do,

    I am using the file tab, click on "save as" then chage the file name and to png format for jpeg format and keep getting error message can't find file. This happens even when I just try to save the file and it says do I want to over write and when I say yes the error message says the file does not exist.

    Since this kept happening I purchased version 19 and you guessed it, say thing is happening.  Looked in the preferences and nothing is changed under files.

    What happens when you go to File>Save after changing the file name and the file format, not File>Save as?

    Try it on a dummy file.
